Finding a new path

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference. ROBERT FROST

Mission Statement

To provide expert services in assessment and behaviour management to assist people with brain injury and other cognitive challenges, their carers and the wider community.

About Us

Diverge offers a community based state wide service, we have regionally based clinicians and we offer face-to-face and telehealth services.

Diverge is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2009. All staff are experienced neuropsychologists with expert skills working with problematic behaviours associated with acquired brain injury (ABI) and co-occurring conditions such as drug and alcohol misuse and mental health issues, and situations often labelled “complex”.

We offer comprehensive range of client focused psychological services including assessment, intervention, counselling and training. Primarily we see people in the community, rather than in the office, and work all across Victoria (Metropolitan and Rural regions), as well as in other states and territories where specialist psychology services are required.

We work with children and adults, family members, therapists, and other people in the person’s support network to establish consistent, collaborative approaches to challenging situations. Our approach is client focused and goal driven. View our services to find out more.

Diversity is highly valued by our organisation and we do not tolerate any discriminatory practices. We support cultural safety, participation and empowerment of people from all backgrounds.

Diverge acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands where we live and work. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present.
